Facilitation of basic support in case of priority project areas
Produces manuals and provide guidelines to Non-Governmental organizations;
Direct, guide and coordinate mobilization of volunteers for major development projects
Coordination and oversight of all development and humanitarian programs and projects locally or internationally funded towards ensuring aid effectiveness, efficiency and accountability;
Elaboration of future project concepts with donors and sector ministries;
Fundraising for development plans and programs;
Development cooperation will be mobilized to help trade promotion, especially to boost exports;
Promotion of setting-up a Pool Fund for small–sized Sector–wide Projects in order to minimize transaction costs and shorten the implementation delays;
Cooperate closely with Project Planning and Development Section
Aid Coordination Section
Coordination of regional activities of government and municipalities (governors, councils, development committees);
Oversight of regional project implementation;
Oversee and coordinate regional NGO activities;
Recognizes and rewards organizations for their performance;
Liaise closely with Government Coordination Section / Planning Department
Regional Project Implementation Oversight Section
Investment & Diaspora Coordination Section
Oversee diaspora and related investment promotion;
Strengthen regional business and union associations & networks;
Establish diaspora desks by global regions;
Identifies viable investment opportunities;
Development cooperation strives to remove the trade–related barriers and create an investment–friendly environment
Carry out feasibility studies together with relevant sector ministries
Mobilizes domestic and external financial resources;
Supports the formation of capital markets and large corporate organizations to pool resources;
Reach out to global diaspora and hold regular exchange fora with global diaspora on investment potentials;
Support establishment of Diaspora Agency
